Ko Wai<\/em>\u00a0focuses on four widely known tribal \u201canthems\u201d \u2013\u00a0the haka taparahi, R\u016baumoko<\/em>; the waiata aroha, Ka Eke ki Wairaka<\/em>; the waiata tangi, Tirotiro Kau Au<\/em>; and the oriori Popo<\/em>! We gratefully acknowledge the wh\u0101nau, hap\u016b and iwi who allowed them to be shared.<\/p>\n

Units of work have also been developed and they support the oral language strand of the Te Reo M\u0101ori learning area.<\/p>\n
