
Ko Te Pā o Rangihoua (mauī) me te Mīhana o Ōihi, takiwā o 1830–32. Kua oti tēnei pā te hanga i tētahi kūrae, ā, kei ngā hiwi ōna māra; e tū ana tētahi whare karakia me ētahi atu whare i raro iho, tūtata ki te pā. He waka kei te wai, ā, he mau kākahu kano-tini ngā tāngata.
Rangihoua Pā (left) and Ōihi Mission Station, circa 1830–32. The pā is built on a promontory and has terraced gardens; a church and other buildings are built on lower ground near the pā. There is a waka on the water with people wearing coloured clothing.
